Newbie with question

Hi,
I am at a point where I specifically want to prototype a small item from a .stl file.
I am working my way through the process of the design,(and the program) to come up with the design.
I am not familiar with the print resolution of the RepRap which could change my design.
Can someone tell me what the lowest res I can have and if there is somewhere in Canberra that might be interested in
printing it off?
